Boy mom

This 👦 boy just amazes me. This 🌞 morning he came in my room at 7:20, (both of our ⏰ alarms go off at 7:20am so he usually comes in, and we start our getting ready for school routine) this is very “regular”. Except this ☀️ morning things were different, he wasn’t in his pajamas. He was fully 👕👖dressed in his school uniform, and informed me that he had already eaten 🥣 breakfast and poured his own 🥛milk, packed his water bottle and 🎒school snack and had his shoes on and tied...they’re never tied 🤣! He said he woke up at 7am, got ready and ate 🥣 breakfast so that I could 🛌 sleep in.

Rubbing my 👀 eyes, to wake up, I said “your like an adult, I guess you don’t need me anymore?!” He exclaimed “of course I do, I did spill a little 💧 water that I need you to clean up”!

After a quick check of his 🧃snack and his choice for 🍩 breakfast (all mom approved), we left for school 1️⃣0️⃣ minutes early. Why??? Because he said “I want to go early, so I can get my morning work done”!

After I dropped him off, tears came to my eyes 😢. I don't know how I got so 🍀 lucky or what I did to deserve him but as I told him on the ride to school, “I’m keeping you forever”! He 💙 makes me so proud.

So, this should serve as my 📅 reminder that I’ve got to be doing something right Because, I’m raising the most amazing little person I’ve ever met!
